David and Marilyn Cruz have been serving in El Salvador, Central America, for 22 years. 18 years ago the Lord called them to serve the coaches and athletes of their country for whom they feel a passion to bring them the message of Christ.

For far too long, no attention was being given to the spiritual needs of coaches and athletes in El Salvador, so God urged David’s heart to serve them in the different sports disciplines within the Federations, schools and universities. David teams up with his wife, Marilyn, who is happy to share with the women and with their 2 sons, Derek and Matthew, who develop ministry with children and youth.

The challenge has not been easy but the Cruz’ have witnessed the transformation of many lives in the families of coaches and athletes whom by the grace of God have been reached with the Gospel.

The projects that have been carried out are many with more that will continue to be developed in 2022 and in the future, such as training for pastors and church leaders, as well as for Physical Education teachers in public schools.
