Ethiopia Emmanuel Light and Life Church was founded in 2000 in Ethiopia.
Church plants are found in Addis Ababa and nationwide. Over 10,000 Ethiopians regularly attend Sunday services in all the churches. The church has over 8,000 members in 36 congregations and 4 church plants.

“Since the church is financially poor, we have big problems of training center, church structure in many church plant areas for worship programs and support for church planters when they travel from place to place.
We have big vision to reach our people. Most of our pastors are traveling from place to place to reach Ethiopia with the gospel of Christ with no payment and some with very minimal support. We need who ever has kingdom mind to support us in church planting process by training our church planter pastors, when we plant churches by helping us to build church structures and supporting church planters for certain period of time.

Ethiopia is found in east Africa (in the horn of Africa) predominantly agricultural country – more than 80% of the population lives in rural areas and from 15 – 20% only lives in urban area. The population of the country is nearly 110,000,000. The percentage of religions in Ethiopia is seen as Ethiopian Orthodox 43.5%, Muslim 33.9%, Protestant 18.5%, traditional 2.7%, Catholic 0.7%, other 0.6% (2007 est.)
